I attended a baby shower today and they served a food platter from Steak and Hoagie Factory in Newtown. Everything was delicious, the chicken tenders, mozzarella sticks and my favorite, the cheesesteak egg rolls. I will definitely use them for my own functions in future.

Good food, good portions. Excellent service, very friendly staff. Homemade cookies are amazing, especially the peanut butter. Nice clean roomie restaurant with a lot of tvs. Really liked this place.
Better than Philly cheesesteaks. I'm not even kidding. It was super busy which is always a good sign. Service was friendly and efficient. I went with a cheesesteak hero, mystery man got the same and chicken fingers for the kids. We were all pleased. Be cautious, for some reason the GPS tries taking you to an apartment complex.
Bye Bye, Slack's Hoagie Shack. Hello, Steak and Hoagie Factory! While Slack's was a staple in the Newtown community and we were all sorry to see them depart, their replacement is off to a great start. Little has changed inside, except for the higher level of cleanliness, and the outgoing charm of the new management eager to capture the good will of their predecessor and start their own legend. I ordered two hoagies by phone (Turkey & Swiss, Roast Beef & Provolone), regular size, with hot and sweet peppers. They were both stuffed to the gills with fresh cold cuts and housed in excellent crisp skinned/soft inside long torpedo rolls. With any good sandwich, the bread tells the tale, and these were wonderful, completely complementing the lean roast beef and multi sliced cool turkey. We cut each into 4 parts to better share between us. True. A slather of mayo helped it all go down smoothly. These fatties were a great introduction to what this new business has in store for Newtown. Primo's now has some real competition for our submarine dollars. May the better sandwich win!
